St Louis plan reunion

Plans are afoot for a wonderful reunion evening in the Chapel Hall on Friday September 29 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm for all past pupils of Dun Lughaigh secondary school in Dundalk. The school have organised a wine and cheese evening for anybody who has worn the green uniform down through the years. This is a great chance to renew acquaintances with old school pals and reminisce about the good old days in the Castletown Road school.

Tickets are priced at €10 and went on sale on Monday September 10. The tickets can can be purchased from the school office, MacGuinness Wines and Creative Spark.

If anywhere else around town are willing to sell the tickets in their shops or offices they can contact Orla at pastpupils@stlouisdundalk.ie.

Six types of wine on the evening will be supplied by local supplier Alan McGuinness while Peter Thomas from Bellingham cheese is making a cheese to complement each of the six tasting wines.

If you plan to attend but can’t get tickets before the event it is suggested that you email your interest as the school need to have an idea of exactly how many past pupils plan on attending the evening.

Alan will also have a special offer available to all those who attend on the night which will be valid for the following few weeks.

If anybody is interested in attending the special evening they should email Orla at pastpupils@stlouisdundalk.ie with your name, year of leaving and number of tickets required.
