Launch of Tony Golden Cycle

The third annual Tony Golden Memorial Cycle was launched in Dundalk Garda Station on Wednesday May 9.

This year the cycle takes place on September 22 and covers two routes of 55km and 110 km taking in Blackrock and Omeath, as

Garda Golden resided in Blackrock and was stationed in Omeath.

All proceeds are going to Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, National children’s cancer charity.

Present in the photograph are Nicola Golden, Mick Rochford from Aoibheanns Pink Tie, Chief Supt Christy Mangan, Supt Gerry Curley and Supt Andrew Watters, Louth Division along with members of the Garda Tony Golden Memorial Cycle Committee and IPA cycling club.

A fundraising table quiz is also being held on May 17 in Brubakers, Park St, Dundalk at 9pm.
