Jordan claims his 13th world record

Dundalk power lifter, Jordan Holland, is continuing to take the sport by storm after recording his 13th world record recently.
Jordan was competing in the World Full Power Championships in Glasgow on November 2 in which he won world titles at U-18, U-20 and U-23 level.
The competition is the three powerlifting movements – squat, bench press and deadlift, with the total of the biggest lifts been added together to determine the winner.
Jordan’s best squat was 170.5 and represents his 13th world record in the squat in two years.
Jordan has had a busy year with seven comps in all – three nationals and four international which he won all under 18 as well as senior. In Glasgow he finished second in the senior section as well.
Jordan’s end goal is the Olympics and his team is convinced he will made it.
