Old Dundalk Society Lecture

The Old Dundalk Society is delighted to announce the first of its Winter series of lectures. The Lecture entitled ‘Louth County Archives’ will take place in the Louth County Museum on Wednesday the 21st of November 2018 commencing at 8.00 P.M. The lecture will focus on the work of the County Louth Archives Service, and it will give an overview of the collections that are held there. The County Archives was established in 2000 and is the repository for the public and private archives of County Louth. To date the County Archives, has acquired numerous significant collections that contain a wealth of information about County Louth’s places, people and events. Some of the archive material could be relevant to your own local history interest!
The lecture will be delivered by Lorraine McCann, County Archivist.
Attendees are advised to come early as there is limited capacity at the venue.
Voluntary contributions at door.
