Local dancers to appear on television

Three local dancers will appear on Ireland’s Got Talent this weekend as they look to progress to the next stage of the competition.
Teenagers Caitlin Rooney, Lonan Murphy and Nicole Ellis are part of the ‘Fly Youth’ dance crew who are a 23 strong team of dancers who are based and train in Dublin.
This innovative group of young dancers train up to three days a week at Fly Dance Studio in Glasnevin run by Kerrie and Zacc Milne who took part in Season 1 of Ireland’s Got Talent. The Dundalk trio are extremely excited to showcase their talent on such a big platform and are looking forward to being on the show.
According to Caitlin’s mother Debbie this weekend’s appearance on Ireland’s Got Talent is just the beginning of a busy few months for the talented dancers.
“Caitlin, Lonan and Nicole are very excited about their performance going on TV this weekend and they are hoping that the town can get behind them. It’s great to see a positive news story about the kids in Dundalk and I for one know how much hard work they have put into their performance. They are currently working hard ahead of the World Invitational Dance Championships which take place in LA this May so it’s been a very busy few months for the three of them,” stated Debbie.
Fly Youth can be seen performing this weekend on Virgin Media One on Ireland’s Got Talent at 7:30pm.
