Old Dundalk Society Lecture

The Old Dundalk Society is delighted to announce the first of the Spring lecture series of the 2019 season. The History of the famous Macardle Moore & Co. Ltd Dundalk. This lecture will take place in the Louth County Museum, Jocelyn Street Dundalk on Thursday April 11 commencing at 8pm.
This lecture will outline the history of the Macardle and Moore families, the history of the brewing industry in Dundalk, and the impact of the Great War on Macardle Moore & Co Ltd. It will also discuss Macardle Moore County Louth Archive collection.
This lecture will be given by Frank O Callaghan whose family have strong connections with the brewery; Frank’s father being a former employee of the brewery. Attendees are advised to come early as there is limited capacity at the venue. An enjoyable evening is assured. Voluntary contributions at the door.
