Dundalk Swimming Club Table Quiz

Dundalk Swimming Club hold their annual Table Quiz in the Neptune in Blackrock on Thursday October 24 at 7.30pm to raise much needed funds to support the club in meeting the financial costs involved in taking the Swim Team to success during the 2019/2020 season culminating in the National Finals in Limerick and Dublin.
Dundalk Swimming Club is run by parents on a voluntary basis and aims to provide a safe, fun, positive and encouraging environment in which swimmers from the North East region can achieve their full potential and develop personal and social skills.

Funding is required to support the general running of the club, to purchase sports equipment including backstroke wedges, stretching bands, ropes and mats and to provide club kit for the dedicated junior athletes in upcoming regional, national and international events including the Leinster and Irish Short Course Championship in November and December 2019, and The McCullagh International Open, The Irish Open and the Irish Summer Nationals in 2020.

The club has just completed an historic season with an unprecedented number of swimmers achieving qualification times for the Summer National Division 1 & 2 Finals in Dublin and Limerick respectively in July 2019 bringing back a bag full of medals for their dedicated commitment to their sport.
The young swimmers put in an incredible 4-12 hours training per week and if you can’t make the Quiz Night you can still support this highly committed and talented bunch by making a donation on the GoFundMe page. Search Dundalk Swimming Club at www.gofundme.com.
